Dear colleagues, dear participants,

In the light of current sanitary developments (delays for vaccination in most of countries, spreading of covid variants potentially more contagious than covid-19, high level of contamination in Europe, continuing closing of European frontiers, ...), we have taken the tough decision to cancel the organization of the 22nd ICFIA conference for this year 2021.

We still hope to gather members of the flow family, in Marseille, in a more safe future …

The ICFIA Organizing Committee

On behalf of the Scientific Commitee, it would have been a real pleasure and a great honour for us to welcome you to the 22nd International Conference on Flow Injection Analysis and Related Techniques, from 30 May to 04 June, 2021, in Marseille (France).

Since its first edition in 1989 in Orlando (USA), the ICFIA conference has been held every two years to discuss fundamental aspects and innovative developments based on flow injection analysis and related techniques.

The 22nd edition would have been held in Marseille (France) in June 2021, with focus on developments in flow-based instrumentation, on-line sample processing, miniaturized systems and microfluidic systems and new applications of these techniques in the field of biology, environmental chemistry, or in the industrial field for process monitoring.

This conference is an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the field of flow analysis and to set future directions and collaborations in a friendly setting. This conference is also an opportunity for young students and researchers to present their work at our special sessions for young scientists.

The conference would have been held from 30 May to 04 June 2021 at the Hotel Golden Tulip Marseille Euromed**** (6 Place Henri Verneuil, 13002 Marseille, France), located in the heart of the new district La Joliette, near the historic area of the city (Old Port and the Panier), near shopping centers, approx. 40-minutes from Marseille-Provence Airport or 10-minutes from Marseille Saint-Charles Railway station.

The conference is organized by the Laboratory of Environmental Chemistry (LCE), affiliated to Aix-Marseille University and CNRS, and the Japanese Association for Flow Injection Analysis (JAFIA).
